Craftsmen commissioned specifically by America Remembers for this Tribute
have created a masterpiece honoring this Native American legendary leader. The
recoil shield features a classic portrait of Sitting Bull. Old West
enthusiasts will immediately recognize the image which captures the proud
and determined face of the legendary Sioux leader. To complement
this image of Sitting Bull , the barrel, frame, cylinder, and backstrap
are tastefully decorated with Western images, with the barrel featuring
the title Sitting Bull. The revolver is nickel finished and the
artwork is featured in 24-karat gold with a special blackened patina
highlighting the details of the artwork. Additionally, the hammer
and trigger are polished and decorated in gold to add a finishing touch to
the design.
