Celebrate the unveiling of the biggest star in Texas with the “Texas Motor Speedway Inaugural Race Tribute”
The great state of Texas boasts a rich and colorful history, full of larger-than-life characters and legends. On April 6, 1997, the eyes of the world were upon Texas as NASCAR Winston Cup racing made its debut at the fabulous new Texas Motor Speedway. In honor of this historic event, America Remembers is proud to announce the “Texas Motor Speedway Inaugural Race Tribute,” a genuine working Winchester Model 94 Wrangler rifle in caliber .30-30.
The Tribute’s large loop lever is finished in 24-karat gold, as are the barrel bands, magazine tube cap and saddle ring. The rifle’s rich walnut stocks are highly polished and laser-carved with the official logos of the Texas Motor Speedway and Speedway Motorsports, Inc.
The receiver is the focal point of the Tribute. The right side prominently features the Speedway’s main entrance, with its modern design and festival atmosphere, and the name “Texas Motor Speedway” within a banner below the scene and the date of the Inaugural Race.
The left side captures the entire Speedway complex from a “bird’s eye” view, with the scene identified as the “Texas Motor Speedway.” The receiver is decorated in a combination of 24-karat gold and nickel, with elegant scrollwork framing the entire scene on both sides.
